Trefoil sall /Trefoil shawl

Üle pika aja võtsin käsile õlasalli kudumise. Leides Heleni blogist selle kauni salli, ei suutnud ma vastu panna ning otsustasin ka proovida. Lõnga otsimisel oli mulle abiks Susa ning tema soovitatud KnitPro vardad on lihsalt võrratult mugavad. Sall on valmistatud Alize Angoragold Batic lõngast ning kootud KnitPro ringvarrastega nr 5. Näitan hetkel kahte pilti, kus sall on viimistlemata.

After a long time I finally knitted a shawl. After finding this beautiful shawl in Helen's blog, I couldn't resist and decided to try it out. Susa helped me find the yarn and the KnitPro knitting needles that she recommended are just incredibly comfortable. The shawl is knitted with Alize Angoragold Batic yarn and I used the KnitPro circural needles nr 5. On these two photos the shawl isn't completed yet.

Paar pilti on tehtud ka viimistletud salliga, kuid need hetkel õe arvutis, kuhu ei pääse ligi. Üritan lähiajal mõne pildi lisada.

Ise olen tulemusega väga rahul, kuigi mustrikorduste välja arvutamine oli kohati keeruline.

Some photos are also with the completed shawl, but those are in my sister's computer and I don't have access to them right now. I'll try to add some photos soon.

I myself am very pleased with the outcome, although calculating the pattern repeats was somewhat difficult.

Pitsiline kampsun/ Lacy sweater

Jõudsin vahepeal valmis kududa ühe tellimustöö, milleks oli kampsun. Sooviks oli pitsiline kampsun, mida saaks kanda ihu peal ehk siis mitte liialt läbipaistev. Ühe sellise tegin aastaid tagasi endale ja kui hakkasin netist mustreid otsima, siis avastasin, et mingil põhjusel on pitsilised kampsunid kõik üleni "augulised". Seega tuli endal kombineerima hakata.

In the meantime I got ready a custom work, a knitted sweater. The order was a lacy sweater which can be worn without an undershirt and isn't too transparent. I made one of these for myself years ago and when I started to search for patterns on the Internet, I discovered that for some reason all lacy sweaters are "holey". Therefore I had to start to combine a pattern myself.

Pitsiline muster on võetud raamatust "Kudumise piibel", ülejäänud on tavaline soonikkude. Lõngaks oli Angora Madame Tricote ning vardad 3,5.
Harutada sain seekord palju, sest proovilapi järgi sai kampsun kaks korda suurem kui vaja.

The lacy pattern is from a book called "The knitting bible", the rest of it is a regular ribbed knit.
The yarn I used was Angora Madame Tricote and knitting needles nr 3,5.
I got to rip up a lot, because according to the sample, the sweater was two times as big as it should've been.

Annise sall ja mütsid/ Annis shawl and hats

Minu viimasest postitusest nüüd päris palju aega möödas, kuid nüüd saan näidata vahepeal tehtut. Esmalt mummuline müts tellimuse peale. Valge lõng on Rose mohair (Novita), halli lõnga koostist ei tea, vardad 3,25. Mütsi muster on võetud laenatud ajakirjast, seetõttu enam ei mäleta millisest :(

It's been quite a long time since I last posted anything, but now I can show you what I've been up to all this time. At first, this hat was a custom work. The white yarn is Rose mohair (Novita), I don't know about the grey yarn though, knitting needles nr 3,25. The pattern of the hat is from a magazine I lent and therefore I don't remember from which one :(

Sama tellija tahtis veel üht mütsi, kuna eelmine läks kingiks. Lõngaks valge Rose mohair (Novita) ja sinine Princess Mohair (Novita), vardad 3,25.

The same person who ordered the other hat, wanted another one, because the previous hat was meant as a gift. The yarn is white Rose mohair (Novita) and blue Princess Mohair (Novita), knitting needles nr 3,25.

Mütsile juurde sai tehtud Annise sall, lõngaks Princess Mohair (Novita), vardad nr 5.

In addition to the hat, I also made the Annis shawl, the yarn I used is Princess mohair (Novita), knitting needles nr 5.

Natuke veel koralli / A little more coralling

Nii, sain siis veel sellise komplekti ka valmis... aega läks aga minu arust ikka asja ka sai :) Sinna vahele mõtlesin ise mingit mustrit välja ja mulle endale meeldib, et kaelas jääb ta nagu natuke kroogeline, lisab mõnusat efekti ;)



So, I just finished this set... it took time, but in my opinion, it was worth it :) I made up somekind of pattern in the middle of it and I like that when you wear it, it looks like a ruffle and gives a nice vibe to it ;)

Korall/Coral

Mõtlesin, et panen siia üles kaks hiljutist koralltehnikas tehtud tööd. Roheline käevõru läks lisaks ühele keele ja kõrvarõngastele, mis said omaniku juba tükk aega tagasi ning samuti leidis endale omaniku see roosakas/lilla komplekt. Peale esimest tööd ma nagu eriti vaimustuses sellest tehnikast polnud aga hetkel on suur koralltehnika vaimustus peal ja peagi on valmimas ka heleroheline komplekt, kuid veidi teistsugune, sest sellele sai ise mustrit välja mõeldud ja katsetatud veidi :)

I thought that I'd put some recent coralling work up here. I made the green bracelet to match a pair of earrings and a necklace that I made a while ago and which are in the posession of a new owner for quite a long time now. This pink/purple set has also found a new owner already. After the first work I wasn't very fond of this technique, but at the moment I have this great urge to do some coralling and there is a light green set completed soon. But it's a little different, because I tried to make up a new pattern myself and I did some experimenting with this one :)

Sõbrapäev! / Valentine's Day!

Täna üllatati mind kena kingiga, seepärast võtsin kätte ja küpsetasin ühe koogi. Tavaliselt küpsetab kooke mu noorem õde, kelle kauneid töid ka siin blogis näha saate, kuid kuna ta täna on kaugel koolis, siis küpsetasin selle ekstra temale mõeldes. Seega kallis õeraas - naudi seda magusat suutäit pildi vahendusel!

Today I was surprised with a really nice gift, so I decided to bake a cake. the baker's title goes usually to my younger sister, whose beautiful handicraft you can also see in this blog, but because she's far away in school today, I baked this cake especially while thinking of her. So, my dear sister - enjoy this sweet mouthful of cake watching this photo!

Vahepeal valmis mul siin üks komplekt - kee ja kõrvarõngad. Idee sain "isetegija" heliivika ehteid vaadates... googeldasin veidi ning leidsin veel taolises tehnikas tehtud ehteid ning proovisin ka järgi :) Fimost roose olen siin tükk aega juba teinud (ei näe veel nii head välja kui tahaksin aga harjutamine teeb ju meitsriks ;)), nii otsustasingi kuidagi nad ära kasutada ja tegin selle komplekti.

I made a new necklace and earrings. I got the idea from "isetegija", from watching it's member heliivika's jewelry... I did a little googling and found quite much photos from necklaces made in the same technique and I tried it out :) For quite a while now, I've been making Fimo clay roses (they don't look as good as I want them to look, but hey, practice makes perfect ;)), so I decided to use them and made this set.

Selle aasta esimesed tööd/ This year's first crafts

Alustasin uut aastat kudumisega. Sai tehtud laste komplekt kindad-sokid. Lõngaks Red Heart Baby, varras nr 2,5, muster enda koostatud.

I started my New Year with knitting. I made a children's set - mittens and socks. I used Red Heart Baby yarn, nr. 2,5 knitting needle and the pattern is my own design.



Teiseks tööks oli üks naiste komplekt müts-kindad-sokid. Lõngaks 7 Veljestä (Novita) ja Rose mohair (Novita), varras nr 3,25, kinnastel ja sokkidel mustriks Räpina "Tsõõriline kiri". Mütsi muster kuskilt ajakirjast, mis pole hetkel käepärast võtta.

My second work was a woman's set - hat, mittens and socks. I used 7 Veljestä (Novita) and Rose mohair (Novita) yarn, nr. 3,25 knitting needle and the pattern on the mittens and socks is Räpina's "Tsõõriline kiri" pattern. I got the pattern for the hat from a magazine, but I haven't got it anymore.



Olen veel kudumise lainel, varsti üritan üht poolikut tööd näidata.

Seniks aga nobedaid näppe! ;)

It's been quite a while since we last posted anything, that's due to the fact, that we have had other priorities ;) However, now we have made ourselves busy again and we thought we might post some of our work here. Also, we'll try and post some photos of our recent work soon :)
